Throughout the human cycle, there are several factors which directly or indirectly influence the growth and development of an organism. These are the following:
Human Reproduction- basically, it involves sexual reproduction resulting in the conception of a child. And typically, involving sexual intercourse between man and a woman. The result may be a male or a female. There is also a possibility that the offspring would be a twin; Fraternal, identical or/and Siamese.
Heredity- this is a biological through which the transmission of physical and social characteristics takes place from parents to off-springs. It greatly influences different aspects of growth and development. For example, height, weight, the structure of the body, color of hair and eye, intelligence and even the attitudes.
Environment- Environment plays an important role in human life. Psychologically, a person's environment consists of different stimulation which we receive from our conceptions. There is so called physical environment which is consist of all outer physical such that you have to be manipulative in order to provide food, clothing and shelter. This factor of human development refers to external conditions that influences human growth.
Genetic Defects- Genetic factor plays a significant role in human development. Genetic material passed to the developing infant not only dictates physical traits such as eye color, hair texture, and body type, but can also be responsible for some birth detects ore developmental disorders. There are several identified classes of developmental disorders with strong linkages to the transfer of genetic material. Neurological problems like Down syndrome wherein the number of the chromosomes of oneself is 47. Klinefelter syndrome which is a genetic disorder in which there is at least one extra X chromosome to a standard human male karyotype.
Those factors has their own efficiency in human life. That;s why it is called as Factors of Human Development wherein it involves the theory or study that being stated or being define on Human growth.
